10월 1일 오후 2시 37분쯤 대구 동구 율암동 한 섬유공장에서 불이 났습니다.
불이 나자 소방차 38대와 인력 110명이 투입돼 진화 작업을 벌이고 있습니다.
지금까지 다행히 인명피해는 없지만, 내부에 쌓인 섬유가 불타면서 검은 연기 기둥이 크게 치솟고 진화에 어려움을 겪고 있습니다.
소방당국은 진화작업을 끝내는 대로 공장 안 지게차에서 불이 시작됐다는 신고자의 말을 토대로 정확한 화재 원인을 조사할 방침입니다.
